Curriculum

The four meetings will help you develop an informational base on what is needed to lead a healthy lifestyle. We uncover existing myths and offer instead science-based information.

In the first meeting, we will discuss the role of each component that contributes to the long-term adoption and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle: nutrition, movement, hydration, sleep. Then, we analyze the choices of food, what products are best bought from the supermarket or the market, how can we withstand the temptations, what groups of food should not be missing from a daily diet, which foods provide us with most nutrients and contain the right caloric value.

The third meeting is dedicated to myths and truths about food. We are surrounded by myths, some that can put our health at risk and others harmless, but which have entered the public consciousness as scientific truths. In conclusion, we discuss overweight, which are the causes of fattening, measures that can be taken to lower weight, how to choose a proper diet and maintain a weight without considerable fluctuations.
